Our Story

ALCAR was founded by Alex Carrillo in the fall of 2010 with the purpose of building a small consulting team that would focus on innovation, technology and building bridges between different organizations for meaningful collaboration and positive outcomes.

  • In 2012, Alex gained his first healthcare industry client, and once he learned the impact he could have and the purpose behind the work, he never looked back.

  • In 2018, Alex started to hire industry experts and leaders as consultants for special projects and began to focus more on working with IPAs, health plans and FQHCs.

  • By the end of 2018, he decided that the big focus would be in working and serving FQHCs.

  • Starting in 2019, he began to build unique partnerships with service companies that would provide solutions to the FQHC sector.

  • In 2021, the team began to grow and now has a dozen key team members between employees, consultants and division partners and an additional 200+ indirect team members who service ALCAR clients.
